Assembling was my first creative practice, and still is. For me things are exciting if they connect, physically or thought. And that is what A:ssemblage is all about.
I worked as editor for art and design magazine Clam, a magazine in a transcultural context. My work as fashion writer and fashion editor was enriched by my period as a university lecturer of Stylismus at École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode Art-University in Berlin, and lead up the field of fashion research. 2015 I was member of the advisory board of the exhibition Making Africa of the Vitra Design Museum and Guggenheim Bilbao consulting on new aesthetics and sustainable fashion techniques in Africa. My fashion writing and editorials to sustainable and slow fashion have appeared in Interview Magazine, Quality Magazine, Welt am Sonntag, Icon, Clam Magazine Paris and Style in Progress, among others. 2019 I founded A:ssemblage inspired with the idea to set up a more responsible and impactful creative platform with focus on sustainable structures in fashion industry.
My work revolves around collecting, curating and mediating knowledge. I am an editor and concept developer with a special interest in how we can promote and distribute information in the digital realm. Over the past decade, I have created concepts for exhibitions, print & online publications as well as interactive installations. In addition, I have investigated methods of data visualisation and information graphics, and published four books in collaboration with Taschen Verlag and Princeton Architectural Press. In the context of A:ssemblage, I focus on creating infrastructures for distributing knowledge between the fashion industry, sustainable producers, consumers as well as stakeholders from politics and the civil society.
Internal and external communication play a key role in the success of a company. For now 20 years I guide companies on marketing and advise in employee motivation. Further I am specialized on digitalization of product processes. I develop strategies individually and with absolute confidentiality for companies, to successfully meet the challenges of digitalization. In addition I help to manage change and transforming processes in the areas of marketing.
